You can Update the Products by following these steps. 

WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Upload Updated File of Plugin. 

Plugins can be directly Installed, they are preactivated and safe to use. 

To update, you will need to manually add the plugins again same way you added the initial one, if wordpress asks you to replace old plugin with new one, click on confirm, it will only update the version and won’t delete your data.
